SOME PEOPLE LOVE IT WHILE OTHERS TRY TO AVOID IT ALL TOGETHER.
What am I talking about…SELLING! There are a select few who are naturals and are able to pick up on social cues and know what to say at the right time. For the rest of us, we just have to train ourselves on selling techniques.
Here are just a few pointers on what to remind yourself when you are making a sale.
1. What are they buying? Is it a solution to their problem, an improvement to their social status, something that will make their life easier?
2. Justify why they should shell out their hard earned money for your product. Consumers want to feel like they got a deal or that their money was put to good use.
3. Last but not least …CLOSE! You can have the sale sold but if you don’t take a proactive move to close it, it may never happen. ASK FOR THE SALE!!! Worse yet, your competitor may pick up where you left off.
Try to keep this in mind next time you prepare yourself for a sales call.
