In case you don’t have tweens and young adults swarming around, you may not be aware of the BFF acronym, best friends forever is what it stands for. In order to run a successful marketing plan, your marketing department and accounting department HAVE to be BFFS.
Why? You ask. Simple, in order to make decisions, evaluate effectiveness, plan promotions and set prices you must first consult accounting. They hold the key to any business. Numbers don’t lie and you can really use the information accounting provides as a tool to plan and create a truly profitable marketing plan.
These two departments must have open lines of communications to run a lucrative business. Even if you don’t have “departments”, the people or person handling marketing really needs to consider the accounting of the business before they can make good choices.
